Protect the Beat

Co-led with the phenomenal drummer, Darby Todd (who has toured extensively with The Darkness, Rick Parfitt Jnr, Martin Barr and Key Marcello) Protect the Beat takes influences from Morrisey Mullen, the Average White Band, the Brecker Brothers and the Yellowjackets and then creates its own unique, instrumental jazz/funk/fusion repertoire. Completing the line-up is Neil Angilley (keys - Down to the Bone, Vanessa Mae, Michael Ball, War of the Worlds), Tim Cansfield (guitar - Bees Gees, Annie Lennox, Ray Charles) and Winston Blissett (bass - Massive Attack, Jeff Lorber).
